Think beyond textbooks. Rare manuscripts, art, archives, clothing — the extraordinary things college libraries keep quietly on their shelves.
For one afternoon, seven college libraries across Oxford open their doors. Wander between historic quadrangles, browse curated displays, and meet items you'd never have expected to find.
Start at 2pm at Lincoln College, where friendly librarians and archivists will tell you about their fascinating collections. Then pick up your map, choose your own route, and explore at your own pace. All seven libraries are open throughout the afternoon — you can drop in to as many as you like.
Can't make 2pm? Don't worry, you can still join the trail at any of the colleges — just make sure to pick up a map (or download it in advance), as the map is your ticket and guide. The last entry time for all displays is 4:50pm.
